Hello fellas! I'm so excited because I have a lot of posts to share to you this month yasss! So, be prepared guys hahaha. This cafe, is one of the newest cafe in town and surprisingly the owner of the cafe is the same person who owns Pipe and Barrel. Yes, Chef Ken from Master Chef Indonesia.
Publique Cafe is located in front of Papaya Supermarket. This cafe has two floors of dining area, sadly I didnt take any single picture in the first floor. In the first floor there is a bar and their interior design using a lot of woods, their cafe is not too spacious.
In the second floor, there are more seats and spaces than in the first floor.I think most people prefer the second floor including me lol because the ambience is more comfortable, homie, and the feels is more alive.
They dont have too many variation in the menu, they only serve seven main dishes, four choices in the snack and bites section, and the rest of it are desserts and beverages. Surprisingly, they dont serve western foods like any other cafe these days, they serve Vietnamese foods.
I decided to choose grilled chicken paddy, chai tea snowball, and tiramisu panna cotta on the other side, my friends decided to choose Publique's rice paddy, choco lava cake, flat white, and cappuccino. The range of their prices are not expensive, I think it's quite cheap for a cafe in West Surabaya.

I don't think I like the grilled chicken paddy, it was tasteless when you eat it with rice. The Publique's rice paddy was delicious, it was salty and I like it! The tiramisu panna cotta was delicious too, creamy and sweet, the only thing that I don't like about it, was the plating of the tiramisu itself. My friends said that the cappuccino and the flat white were also tasteless, meanwhile my chai tea snowball was tasty, and the presentation was quite unique, love it!
