Guys, I'm so stressed out about my university things and it's orientation week. Is it just me who always overthinks everything or are you guys getting this feeling too when youre about to enter university? Comment your answer in the comment section bellow! Okay, enough blabbering lets get down to the review, shall we?
FAT LOUIE
This cafe is one of the newest cafe in Malang, my friend told me that this cafe is a chill place to hang out because it has a very nice ambience so I decided to try it. Fat Louie is located is Jl. Letjen Sutoyo near Hotel Santika, precisely there's a huge car wash place and Fat Louie is located in the 2nd floor of that car wash place so you have to take a stair to reach the cafe.
My first thought was, whoa okay it's true that the ambience is very nice but there's no air-con so I bet it will be extra hot in the afternoon (luckily I went there at night plus it was raining that time, so its pretty cold) by the way there are 3 sections, the outdoor-with-ceiling area, the indoor area, and last but not least the outdoor-without-ceiling area and sadly I couldn't take a picture of the last area because it was raining even tho it's the prettiest area in the cafe! Hiks.
I ordered chicken crisper and some tortilla-bla-bla (sorry couldn't remember the name, pardon my short-term memory haha) and truthfully I was quite dissapointed with the foods especially the chicken crisper one. Chicken crisper is basically some boneless fried chicken that have been cut into some long pieces as you can see in the photo and then drizzled by honey sauce and served with some fried fries, ironically the chicken was not as crispy as the name and there's nothing special about it, they couldn't even fry the fries properly so it wasn't crispy , it's quite soggy instead. For the tortilla, it's okay (there's a lot of tomato inside of it, so you should avoid this dish if you don't like tomato) but again, there's nothing special about this dish.

I ordered fifty shades of grey and I-forgot-the-name-again for drinks. If you like sweet drinks you'll like fifty shades of grey, and for the other drink, I really really like it because it was sweet yet sour, you should try it, just show this photo and they will know :)

The good things about Fat Louie are the design of the cafe, the cozy ambience, and the service is really good! They're very friendly and patiently explain all the menu to us, so we were very satisfied with the service and the place! and also, their prices are quite cheap, I only spent 130k in here for further information just ask me through ask.fm : @evelynetirta!
