This dessert shop isnt a new one in Surabaya, but can be considered as one of the best one. I have visited this place a few times because I love their dessert, and 2 weeks ago, I visited this place again in order to accompany my friends. Curious? Let's get down to the review, shall we?
Yoohoo Desserts and Bites is a famous dessert shop in town. They sell many kinds of taiwanese black ball ice, they also sell many kind of snacks such as ramyun, chicken wings, satay ball, etc.
The 1st time I went there, I decided to buy their red velvet blended and surprisingly it was delicious but for me it's a lil bit pricey (or it is just me?). The 2nd time and the 3rd time, I also bought the red velvet blended because I was contagious. But the next I went there, I decided to tried something different. It was oreo ball and taro ball. Both of them were delicious, but for me, I liked the taro one better because there is taro milks in that ice. On the other hands, in the oreo ball, there is just plain vanilla milks.
This taiwanese black balls served in a large bowl. The taro ball is consists of ice cream (you can choose between vanilla, chocolate, or green tea) yooball, sweet potato, taro ball, pudding, plain milks, and mochi (if I'm not mistaken).The oreo ball is consists of ice cream (choose between vanilla, green tea, or chocolate), taro milks, yooball, oreo ball, sweet potato, taro ball, pudding, and mochi.
The prices are cheap for the oreo ball and the taro ball, only with about idr 30-40k you can get a large bowl of yummy desserts.
The shop is small, not too spacious.There are about 10 tables, maybe in there? and their decoration and design of the shop itself was pretty simple, yet homie and comfy. Their lighting and lamplight are too dull, I dont really like it hahaha and.. I think they need to rebuild their toilet. Also, there is no music in there, so.. it was kinda krik krik. Plussss if there are so many people or customers in there, ughh I'd rather go outside because it's noisy and uncomfortable.
By the way, I'm so sorry for the bad pictures.. I was in a hurry that time so I just snappedandsnapped, whatsoever with the pictures and now.. after looked at it, I regret it. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with Yoohoo and dying to come back there! LOL.
