Hey guyssss, nowadays there are lots of cafes in Surabaya.. but this one, hmmm this one is different. This cafe called Ore Carpentier Kitchen, inside this cafe there is a small boutique. The theme of the cafe and the boutique is vintage so they are selling so many old and unique vintage stuff.
Few months ago, me and my friend went to carpentier kitchen but they were under renovation. And yesterday, I went to carpentier kitchen again and finally I could taste their yummy foodsss. Ive been waiting for so long because some of my friends told me that this cafe is very worth it lah. Their foods are not pricey, their prices are affordable, their foods are tasty and the truth are... they really were!

So this place divided into 2 sections, outdoor and indoor, because I went to this cafe in the afternoon, we decided to choose the indoor one (if you know what I mean). Actually, I like the outdoor one better because the decoration and the ambience is more homey and relaxing unfortunately it's a lil bit too hot in the afternoon.

Okay so, we decided to order baked bbq chicken, virginia cheese fries, and penne & cheese. Three of them were tastyyy, I totally love it.

The bbq sauce is flavourful, savory also a lil bit sour because of the sauce, the chicken is chewy, the french fries/wedges is crispy.

Virginia Cheese Fries idr 30 something k
French fries with melted cheese on top of it? YES PLEASE! For those who love cheese, this one is totally recommended. The crispy french fries combined with the savory melted cheese, one word.. YUM. This virginia cheese fries is different from other french fries because they're using the new cheese coated fries instead of the usual fries.

Penne & Cheese idr 44k
A pasta lover? A cheese lover? Then, you absolutely need to try this one. The combination between pasta and cheese. It tasted delicious, but if you eat too much of it, you will get puke ohoho so its better to share it with your friends.

Overall, I love their foods, I love their beverages, I love their design of the cafe, I love the vintage theme, and I love their prices lol. Can't wait to go back to this cafe!
