Hey guys! It's been a long time since the last post. Today I wanna post something about my favorite dessert well I mean, everybody's favorite dessert ayey. Guess what it is? Of course, it's gelato!
Gelato is the Italian word for ice cream, in English this word commonly refers to varieties of ice cream made in a traditional Italian style. Gelato can be made with milk, cream, various sugars, and flavoring such as fresh fruit and nutpurees. It is generally lower in calories, fat and sugar than ice cream.
Today, I visited an italian classic dessert shop named Casa Del Gelato. Although the flavors are not that much but the gelatos are tasty and the price is sooo cheap also, mbak dan mas nya are very kind and friendly. Their most unique gelato is amaretto, amaretto is a sweet, almond-flavoured, Italianliqueur. It is made from a base of apricot pits or almonds, sometimes both. I tasted some gelatos like durian, bir bintang, exotic (a mix between dragon fruit and lemon), lychee, chocolate, dark chocolate, vanilla, orange, mint choclate, biscoto ginger canella, and white oreo. They also serve some foods, snacks, and beverages.
Their amaretto tasted good and different, it tasted like a mix between rhum and wine. Most of their customer always choose the amaretto. Their bir bintang uhm, personally I dont like beer that much so yeah I dont like it, btw it tasted exactly like bir bintang so if you like gelato and you like beer, this flavor is definitely for you. The biscoto ginger, I dont like it because the ginger tasted so strong. The orange flavor tasted good, it tasted sweet and sour. The mint chocolate and the white oreo tasted delicious and it tasted same like other gelato shop but Casa Del Gelato is sooo cheap and the portion is so big! I was very satisfied lol.
Unfortunately their shop is a bit small and there is no AC, well there is one AC but they didnt turn it on. Also, their tables and chairs are located in outdoor so its uncomfortable.
